Are you a little tired of religion? Are you burnt out on jumping through hoops and putting on faces just so you can attempt to impress someone? I am too. When Jesus walked on the earth he came to reach people with a life changing message. A message of salvation, hope, an confidence. He came so that we might have a personal relationship with God. That is why we are here. Taking this personal, powerful message of Jesus Christ to the world around us. A message of salvation, hope and peace. Rock Prairie is a place to actively engage in ministry, and become a part of a vibrant growing church family. Rock Prairie just might be the place for you. Rock Prairie is a place to come worship, be truly loved. It is a place to call home. I invite you to come and be our guest and see for yourself how  God is alive and working at Rock Prairie.

Words that others have shared to describe our church are warm, family , close knit, and inviting.   Please understand that by no means is Rock Prairie a perfect place. It is simply a gathering of sinners who want to learn by the word and power of God to become fully devoted followers of Christ, and to reach people who do not know God. Rock Prairie, as any church, has its struggles, It is not a problem free place. However, we are growing in the manner with which we deal with real life issues according  to the timeless principles of the Word of God.

Each church, whether stated or not, has a value system. Our stated purpose as a church is to glorify God by reaching the lost, growing in the Word and loving our neighbor as ourselves. Church is like anything else in life -you get out of it what you invest in it. I challenge you to join us in our lifelong  endeavor of investing our time, talent and resources into the lives of our surrounding community for the purpose of building the kingdom of God.
